There is definitively no way to take a card back on your hand !!
What has been layed on the table stays there untill it's sold (herd) or
eliminated !!

When indians are on a willow, it's considered out of play.
It's not taking into account for untill someone plays the cavalery on it !!

the red

Herds then belong to indians, and during this time, they don't grow !!

It seems there is a mistake on the german translation.
On the hero, you have a bonus for fight, depending on which hero you have
(+3, +4 or +5)
And, on each of these cards, you will see some coins representing the reward
if the hero wins the fight....
example:
first fight:
the hero +3 (2coins) fights against a +2 cowboy
The hero rolls the dice and makes a 6.. fight value is 6+3=9
The cowboy rolls the dice and makes 5.. fight value 5+2=7
hero wins 2 gold coins and keeps the dead cowbot in front of him, for
memory....
on his next turn, the same hero makes on other fight agins a +3 cowboy
The hero rolls the dice and makes a 3.. fight value is 3+3=6
The cowboy rolls the dice and makes 5.. fight value 5+3=8
The cowboy wins the fight and gets 4 gold coins (2 for the basic reward, and
2 more because it's the total amount of fight bonus of all the cowboys
defeated by the hero)
So, you can notice that the reward to kill a hero will be more and more
important depending on his precedent success !!
But the hero allways get the same basic reward for each of his winning fight
If a same player uses several different heros, he has to manage a separaté
stack of victims for each hero

It's the bank who pays the reward

For 2 player game, in fact all is the same as for 4 player game...
So igf you play a saloon on one of your 2 ranches, cowboys are coming from
the 2 ranches of your opponent, AND from your other ranch
Thank you for the interest you have for my small game...
i hope my answer will be sufficient for all your questions
if you have more dark points, don't hesitate to ask !!
All the best
