Hi,
I just noticed (pretty late) that War on Terror won't be at Essen.

One of the main reasons I was going this year!!
I'm really disappointed (to say the least, and I will spare you the expletives that ran amok in my mind when I heard that!)

I'm going to wear a white t-shirt that says:
I want my War on Terror!
(banned from Essen spiel06)

my own little protest...

anybody joining????

Take care,
have fun.
Sjap,
Amsterdam.

Well, to be honest, I am not really sure if this game really was banned. If I look at the whole marketing of this game, I am willing to assume, that this is just another marketing ploy. Also, this announcement can only be found at BGG and not on their own blog.
Seems a bit fishy to me...after all this game primarily lives from provocation and polarisation.

Quoted from the War on Terror Blog:
>To clarify the rumours, we have been banned from the Essen, Nuremberg and
>New York toy fairs. We're waiting to hear from the UK toy fair but they're not
>responding to our communication.
