new gaming-site: mastermoves.eu

Hi,
I spoke long about it ... but since this weekend it is online. Together with Ronald Lokers I started a new turnbased (English language, but the games are language-independed) gaming site: www.mastermoves.eu . Ready, the games work well, still enough to improve. At the moment only Cwali-games. Maybe other games later.
(by the way: it can be that the site is slow now, that will improve)
2 of the 4 programmed games I will release in Essen in October as boardgames. So play these already on the site. On the site it are 2-player-games. The boardgame of Land-of-Lakes will be 2-5 players (it's not 100% the same as on computer), and comes the most alive as 4 or 5 players game. So that is a surprise for Essen, but I'm a fan of this 2-player-version too. (My username on the site is Cwali.)
On the site you can now play:
- "Land of Lakes" is complete new and unique on the new site. This game I will sell as boardgame too (with an other name), starting in October this year (Essen-games-fair).
- "Territories" too is complete new and unique on the new site. This game I will sell as boardgame too, starting at Essen-games-fair).
- "StreetSoccer" (that was on other sides already, now you can choose between 55 teams currently, like Barcelona, Juventus, Germany or Peru)
- "8Cities" (that was since half a year on a Dutch language games-site (jijbent.nl), already 100.000 matches are played there)
The site has 3 different types of tournaments per game. These are really attractive (for me). The 3 tournaments are:
- The Pyramid:
1 player on top of the pyramid, 2 players in the second highest stage, 3 under those 2, then 4 players and so on. You get automatically attached to a free player in the stage under or above you. You play 2 matches at the same time, both players start in 1 match. If the lower player wins, then you exchange positions. If you win, next game you play against a player above you.
- The day/week/month/year-tournaments:
Each day at 8 o'clock in the evening (Dutch time) starts the only daily tournament with the players who subscribed for this tournament in the past 24 hours. All play against each other, or first groups and then winners against each other (for example: 10 players means 2 groups of 5 players and the winners play the final). The winner of the day gets a place in the week-tournament with the 7 winners of the week. The week-tournament-winners play the month-tournament and finally the maximum 12 (this year 10) different month-tournament winners play in the year-tournament.
- The Competition: In the competition are groups with maximum 11 players who play all against each other. The 2 highest go to a higher league, the 4 lowest to a lower league for next competition.
You can start in a tournament or invite a friend by writing the email-adress as invitation name. That works smooth for a quick start for that other player!
Rankings:
For the player rankings we made a very different method to many game sites. It's not comparable to elo-ranking, but more like sport-rankings like FIFA/UEFA-ranking or ATP-points or 'worldcup-point-systems'. Your position in the Pyramid, and in the Competition and results in the day/week/month/year-tournaments all bring you ranking-points, what builds the ranking-list.
In March all players will get the master-'degree' on the site, what means that you can play much for free. Later that is more limited. We try to get the bugs out, if any, this month, and we improve things.
Hope to meet you on mastermoves.eu. Have fun.
