I think it is difficult without a list of eligible
games being provided...

Luding provides to lists:
-> new releases Nürnberg 2001
-> new releases Essen 2000
You can vote for all German language games of this lists.

Hi Rick,
look at our page "spiele+messen" (see URL below) and you'll find lists of the new games from Essen Nuremberg ("Tabelle der neuen Spiele").

I hope that everyone who is wondering reads your
messages. But if they do not, would it not be
useful to place a list of these games or at least
links to Luding's lists on the DSP website?

every year several hundred new games are released. So it is nearly impossible to provide a complete list and a list on which some games are missing could be offending to authors and publishers of the forgotten games.
Finally, if you really vote for an older game, this vote is, as far as I know, ignored but the rest is still valid. So you don't lose your complete voting but just a part of it.
