problems with viewing the threads in the forum

For more or less one week, the way I can see the threads in the spielbox forum seems to be strangerly distorted, and there is a far too large space between the different subject lines. Am I the only one with this problem ?

Das Problem taucht jedoch nicht bei allen Browsern auf.
IE scheint OK zu sein.
Safari unter MacOSX zeigt jedoch seit einigen Tagen die genannten Probleme.

Stimmt.

With IE and Netscape on my Mac (OS X), the problem is non-existent. With Safari however, there is a blank line between every reply in the thread. I hope someone can fix it - would not like to give up my favorite browser ;-)

Hi Bruno,

just to summarize the German OffTopic thread

- KMW had to change the layout because of too much traffic generated by the
old -based design.
- If you see blank lines then try a reload of the page. The new layout
needs an updated CSS style sheet which many browsers do not reload by
default but keep in their cache.
- From my experience: Try a "hard" reload, because your internet provider
or your LAN might keep the obsolete style sheet in their cache.
Hard reloads depends on your browser (Shift+Reload, Alt+Reload, Ctrl+Reload
or something).

This seems to work with Netscape (4.x), Mozilla and most IE's.
Anyway, it could be that there remains a small blank line (like using IE 5.5).

But the new layout reduces network traffic about a half, which is a better
load time for use and significant cost reduction for Spielbox.
