China Moon ab 12 ?

Hiho,

Ich habe heute das Eurogames Spiel "China Moon" ausprobiert. Auf der Packung steht "ab 12 Jahre" und von daher habe ich ein Spiel erwartet was ab 12 ist ... nicht gerade ein Funkenschlag, aber ganz sicher auch kein Fröscheln.
Die Verpackung war schonmal ein riesen-reinfall: 75% Luft. Die Regeln haben auch nicht die 5-jährigen Tochter eines Freundes überfordert, so das ich mich doch ziemlich ernsthaft Frage was das soll? Ab 6 oder 7 Jahre wäre wohl passend, aber ab 12? - Ist das ein Insider-Gag?
Das Teil ist ein schönes Kinderspiel und hat auch etwas Taktik, aber ansonsten?

12 is excessive, but the game is somewhat nasty and doesn't play well with 6 or 7 years old. 8+ wuld have be more right.

I have played the game several times with children aged 6-9. But the young ones cannot think several moves ahead and rarely understand the nasty play needed to play well. The box probably should say 10+, but the game is not really for children younger than that - unless they are skilled gamers.
