Does anyone know which football competitions are the most popular in Africa? I'd like to make sure my time is well spent.

Africa is a very large continent. I think you should decide on a country. I'll try to persuade you to look at sports in Egypt. There are now a lot of golf courses there (oddly enough). However, this is a tourist country and this has a big influence. The more athletes choose Egypt, the more bookmaker ratings in Egypt. This is normal practice.
