Wissenschaftler, Sammler und Spieleautoren aus der ganzen Welt treffen sich zu dieser jährlichen Veranstaltung, um über die historischen, psychologischen, anthropologischen, pädagogischen und mathematischen Aspekte von Spielen zu diskutieren. Die internationale Fachtagung wird in englischer Sprache abgehalten. Jetzt gibt es einen Aufruf, Beiträge einzureichen.

The German Games Archive looks back on 30 years of collecting, categorising and playing. The team of the Archive is happy to welcome you in Nuremberg to the 19th annual Board Game Studies Colloquium. The colloquium languages will be English and German. We will accept papers from scholars, game designers or collectors in any academic field.
Please submit proposals with a title and informal summary (in English or German) of no more than 200 words to boardgamestudies2016@stadt.nuernberg.de by January 15, 2016.
Initial proposals should be sent as an email attachment in doc, docx or PDF format, together with a brief biography including previous publications, institutional affiliation and academic or other relevant credentials. If your paper is accepted, you will be invited to hold a presentation at the colloquium. You should then provide a formal abstract of 200 – 500 words by February 28, 2016.
