Ashland, OR (August 17th, 2006) – On August 4th 2006, Funagain Games acquired the entire line of Eagle Games inventory. Eagle Games is known for its high-quality historical strategy games containing wonderfully detailed plastic components and beautifully illustrated game boards. “Funagain is excited to continue to bring the Eagle Games line to the gaming community, as they are some of our favorite titles, and we also look forward to the possibility of future Eagle titles,” said Nick Medinger, Operations Manager for Funagain Games.
The acquisition ensures that current Eagle Games products will continue to be available to fans of the line. Along with acquiring the inventory Funagain has lowered the manufacturers suggested retail price for many of the titles. The following, lowered MSRPs are effective immediately:
Bootleggers $31.95
Blood Feud in New York $41.95
Conquest of the Empire $47.95
Wench $9.95
Puerto Rico PC Game $14.95
Kosteniuks Chess $14.95
Age of Mythology $35.95
Attack and Attack Expansion $19.95 (each)
Funagain will continue to provide the entire Eagle Games line on its website, www.funagain.com. Funagain will also distribute the Eagle Games line to select retailers through its new FRED network. If you are a retailer interested in carrying the Eagle Games line, inquiries about FRED should be directed to chads@funagain.com.
