The ZooSim rulebook has 4 variation rules. Because I think it's good to play the
game with different variations in different matches. But in the meantime one of the
variation rules became 'the basic rule' when I play ZooSim. That is variation rule
2: "Variable Season Length" / "Variable Lange Einer Saison".
With that rule you place new tiles for a season untill a 3rd tile with at least 1 tree
appears. So that the number of tiles per season differs. That gives more variation
in bidding, and per season because in a short season you have to think if you
want to bid much for one of the 3 (for example) tiles before a calculation and
getting new income, and in a long season (8 tiles for example) you can look
forward which tiles you can combine good and you can get tiles very cheap
sometimes. In my opinion it gives the game much more variation. And players
who don't see a reason to use that variation rule seem to be convinced too when it
is used. With the basic rules of 5 tiles per season the game feels more 'flat' and in
case of 4 players the emphesize then is much on getting 2 of the 5 tiles in the
first season, and you normally get a third tile in the second season of 5 tiles when
you got 2 of the first 5 tiles. With variable season lengths such tactics are different
every game.

(Some time ago I wrote in this forum about future Cwali-games. The release of
new games gets closer and closer, but the plans for new releases changed
weekly/dayly so that info isn't up-to-date now. Anyway, I hope to release new
games soon, april is the planning now but I should not say that ...)

That is the plan (just the plan ...) with a new 2-players-game,
like with StreetSoccer in Herne last year.
