7 Ages, wer hat es schon?

Beitragvon Lars Hoffmann » 9. September 2004, 11:41

Harry Rowland - Aug 29, 2004 10:37 pm (#405 Total: 408)

7 Ages

the counters are finished already, the boxes are expected to be finished this week, and the rest of the stuff next week.

We apologise for the delay and won't try to be so much on the bleeding edge next time (which caused us such grief this time).

Regards Harry

Also noch kein Grund zur Panik. :-)

Gruss

Ernst

Hallo Manuel,

the counters are now being shipped around the world, the boxes have been printed and are now being made up and the rest of the components should be finished within the next week or so.

I apologise for the delay and we are doing everything we can to speed up the finishing of the game.

Due to the long delay we are despatching all the advance orders to our agents by air around the world from which they will be sent out in the most expeditious manner possible. The remaining games should be available within a few weeks after first release.

Regards Harry

Gruss

Es wird noch länger dauern. Vermutlich kommt das Spiel erst Ende Oktober. Hier die letzten Infos von Consimworld:

Movement at the station

Gidday Jose and Allan,

There has been movement at the station both positive and negative.

8 weeks ago we sub contracted the 7 Ages cards (the last item to be printed) to a foreign company on the recommendation of a game company we trusted, based on the foreign company's commitment to proof in one week and print in another. Thus the game SHOULD have been finished 6 weeks ago. As they also demanded $10,000 up front, we have tried to cajole them into hurrying up telling them about us having many anxious customers waiting for the game.

Finally we got sick of the broken promises and ditched them last week, not an easy decision due to the money we gave them. We may end up losing it, but we would rather lose it than you, our valued customers.

To ensure an end to this nonsense asap, we have now contracted two different printers to BOTH print the cards (5000 sets apiece, we are nothing if not optimistic) and whoever does the fastest, best job gets our long term business. These two companies have now given us a commitment that they will have the cards finished on or before October 9 (13 days away). Needless to say, we only need one company to come through to finish the game.

I sincerely apologise for this delay. Stress = responsibility without power, precisely the position this foreign company has put us in. I couldn't personally operate their presses and could only send pathetic e-mails to them asking what was happening while passing on their promised timelines to you.

I realise this has been an inordinate delay and can only reiterate our apologies and of course ADG has a money back guarantee, no questions asked on all our products if you decide the wait has been too long and not worth it.

Regards Harry
