Divide the players in four groups, with the same number of players in each group (10 to 20). Each player has an animal card, with the same distribution in each group. Each group has one dog, one cat, one wolf, one frog, one owl, one sheep...
You can play in a large dark room or, as we did, in a park in a dark night. Each player looks at his card, but doesn't say a word about it. Then each group is guided to a different place in the park, and the game starts.
Players cannot speak or show their card, all they can do is make the noise or shout of their animal. When four players with the same animal think they have found themselves, they go the gamemaster. First complete group to reach the gamemaster wins.
Our game was made more difficult by the fact that there were german, french, english and italian people, and some animals make really different shouts in the various countries.
A small card game intended for a simpler game for 2 to 5 players based on the same idea is going to be published soon in France, in the same collection as my Babylone. There are 21 different animals in the box, but only two of each. So, for a large game like our, you need two boxes.
